Our Story
Quality Socks
We have selected a double thread of 100% Egyptian cotton, perfectly rounded and smooth thanks to its high-quality raw material, spun with a particular technique that eliminates any trace of fibrils in the material. This prevents pilling of the cotton once knitted and makes it smooth, soft, matte, and strong. Our colors are carefully developed, and the yarn dyeing is specially carried out for Bonne Maison in Italy.
Thanks to the expertise of a French manufacturer, we have been able to develop a high-quality sock, very fine with a seamless and reinforced toe. The fineness of the knit allows for great precision in the designs. We have invested with this manufacturer in fine-gauge knitting machines, to be able to produce 80% of our socks in France, with the remaining 20% produced in Europe.
Unique Creations
Since 2012, Béatrice de Crécy has been telling stories with Bonne Maison socks. Each season, three stories composed of 12 designs whose colors and patterns complement each other.
In these stories, we encounter blondes, clowns, crowds, trapeze artists, naked women, birds, dogs, cats, snails, horses, mice, grasshoppers, snakes or monkeys, in mountainous, green or surreal settings, imaginary landscapes, with dots, stripes, not to mention peonies, carnations, irises, daisies, poppies and other wonders... All this little world, of course, aims to settle, frolic and bask, flutter or spread out full length on feet, go up the ankles and even go for a walk around the calves. And if one is not careful, the feet too end up telling stories...
